This work was done as an employee of MartianCraft, LLC.
My experience in production and attention to detail gave me a leading role in publishing this blog. Not only was I turning the authors' screenshots into pixel perfect assets that work on a variety of devices, but I was also responsible for specifying the layout to maintain consistency and beauty wherever it was seen. We funneled hundreds of images and a few dozen article images that all needed to be scaled, and often edited for precision, down to 4 different file sizes to minimize loading times. This became especially valuable when we had detailed blog posts and tutorials that were viewed by thousands of people.
I also helped create an Author's Manual to aide in the publishing of each article. This tool not only helped the authors format their article and create high quality screenshots, but also gave guidelines for the designers to use so that each asset was created, and sized, the same way.
